Pad Printing Machine For Plastic Bottle
A pad printing machine is used to do two-dimensional printing, also known as tempo printing or tomography on three-dimensional objects.
The procedure of pad printing involves heat transfer of an image on a medium/substrate using a silicon pad.
Working
- Fix the plate in the machine at the center of the moving system. The plate carries the image that has to be transferred by the silicon printing pad on the three-dimensional object. Steel, ceramic, and plastic are the most commonly used plates in a pad printing machine.
- Fix and adjust the product/object placing base on the side of the machine using bolts at a suitable height.
- Fix and align the position of the silicon pad to pick out the desired matter/logo for printing.
- Pour the ink into the cup and make sure to cover the cup diameter of the plate. Run the machine to check for any leakage of the ink from the cup.
- Run the machine on manual mode to check if the silicon pad is picking up the impression as needed. Now, take the object, place it on the base and see the printing quality.
Applications
- A pad printing machine finds wide application in electrical and electronic appliances such as LEDs, TV, cables, connectors, etc.
- It is used widely for toys and sports goods like rackets and golf balls.
- Automotive parts and apparel.
- Accessories and stationery items.
- Large household appliances.
